Join us at William Land Park on Saturday, May 1, for the 2010 Greater Sacramento Valley Arthritis Walk. This is a dog-friendly walk filled with family fun, food, and the friendship of people coming together to help us raise money to find a cure for arthritis.
Macy is this year's juvenile arthritis honoree. Macy was diagnosed at 18 months. As her mom and dad will tell you, they never thought a child could be affected by arthritis. Macy and her family are working to help get the word out there about arthritis and hopefully find a cure someday very soon.
We're happy to announce that Jenna Wainaina, local WalMart Market Manager will be serving as this year's honorary chair. WalMart has been a great partner for the Arthritis Foundation, providing donations, volunteers and in-kind gifts.
